Remote control of water pumps by call or SMS
Problem
Nowadays, remote control has become much more accessible thanks to modern technologies. However, our priority at Noxium has always been simplicity and efficiency. When faced with a project in a remote location such as this, where wired broadband installation costs are prohibitive, we must look for an alternative. To this end, we will leverage the cellular network to achieve our goal. Our goal is to control the pump from the flat, remote field where the well, water pump and control panel are located, to where we needed to transport the water through a pipeline.
Solution
Our engineering team proposes an innovative solution using Noxium's ROUTEX P device. With this router, we are able to activate the water pump remotely and efficiently. The water pipeline, which extends to the destination site, does not need to pump water continuously, as this would be inefficient.
Instead, we have configured the ROUTEX P so that, via calls or SMS messages, it can start or stop pumping as needed by the water tank on the mountain.
Thanks to our solution, we overcame the challenges posed by this remote project, achieving optimal and cost-effective management of the water supply to the destination.
